Ouch! After pulling out all the romantic stops for new love match Cheryl, Married at First Sight groom Andrew has suffered the ultimate on-screen humiliation.
Revealing he planned on sharing his first kiss with Cheryl on the beach, Andrew had set the scene perfectly – setting up a picnic and serenading the 25-year-old beauty with a self-penned song.
And while Cheryl thought the whole thing was “really cute”, when Andrew went in for the grand finale, the hair salon manager was quick to rebuff his advances – pulling away and telling him, “I don’t want to kiss you.”
Clearly embarrassed, Andrew said it was a ‘frustrating’ experience, while Cheryl told the cameras she simply wanted to take things slow after what happened with her matched husband Jonathan.
