After four years together the original Bachelor couple Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich announced their engagement on Wednesday night.
It’s a lovely coincidence that Tim gifted Anna with one carat for every year together, estimated to be worth $173, 000. “Anna was given what is essentially a flawless 4-carat diamond – a true reflection of their relationship”, diamond expert David Allen, told Daily Mail.
“The ring features a beautiful emerald cut diamond with round side stones set into a platinum band,” Allen continued.

Anna’s ‘step-cut’ diamond style has become popular once again thanks to Pippa Middleton, Amal Clooney, Beyoncé and Victoria Beckham all sporting the shape. The term step-cut describes diamonds with outlines that are either square or rectangular and whose facets are rectilinear and arranged parallel, such as emerald and Ascher-cuts.
