Bachelor fans were sent into a panic on Thursday when Abbie Chatfield, 24, revealed she had been hospitalised when she shared a photo from her hospital bed hooked up to an IV.

The Bachelor In Paradise star shared a photo to her Instagram story on Thursday in a lilac hospital gown, which immediately sparked concern from fans.
The panic was the last thing Abbie expected, because as the star later revealed she’d posted the photo accidentally, instead meaning to send the photo only to her “close friends” group.
“That was supposed to be for close friends lmao I’m fine guys nothing too serious,” Abbie posted on another Instagram picture.
After being released from hospital Abbie posted another video on her page to explain in more detail exactly why she had been admitted.
“Thanks so much for all the concerned messages,” she started, “I’m fine, I just had a kidney thing.”
“Just nothing exciting, that’s why I didn’t say what it was. It’s honestly fine, I had a drip and antibiotics.”
The It’s A Lot podcast creator went on to say how thankful she was for Australia’s healthcare system and the help she had easily received while in care.
Abbie is set to appear in this year’s Bachelor In Paradise as one of the show’s many unlucky-in-love stars looking for a second chance at finding the real thing.
And, in a newly teased trailer it looks as though she may just find it, with fellow Bachelorette favourite, Ciarran Stott.
The two are featured getting cosy during a romantic waterfall picnic complete with steamy pash.
Given all the drama and “betrayal” that often comes with the show, fans will have to wait and see what eventuates between the pair.
If the show’s initial trailer is anything to go by, Ciarran appears to find himself in hot water in a confrontational dinner party.
