The Big Bang Theory quickly became one of the most beloved sitcoms when its first season was released back in 2007.
Its quirky cast, catchy theme song and charming yet hilarious storylines saw the show quickly garner a huge number of fans as it racked up 12 seasons.
Despite its successful prequel Young Sheldon still in production and rumours of a new spinoff exciting fans – lovers of The Big Bang Theory were still devastated when the show came to an end in 2019.

Where are the cast of Big Bang Theory now?
Jim Parsons
Jim Parsons, who played Sheldon Cooper was the only member of the original Big Bang Theory cast who has remained close to the show’s spinoff series, Young Sheldon. Not only does he still narrate the show, but he has also starred as a lead in the romantic drama Spoiler Alert (2022) and has worked on a number of projects as a producer, most notably on Call Me Kat with his former Big Bang co-star Mayim Bialik.
Kaley Cuoco
Playing girl next door, Penny, Kaley Cuoco was a staple of The Big Bang Theory. In the years since she stepped away from the role she has starred in the series The Flight Attendant and the romantic comedy Meet Cute opposite Pete Davidson. In April 2023, the actress and her partner Tom Pelphrey welcomed their first child, a daughter named Matilda Carmin Richie Pelphrey.
Johnny Galecki
Johnny Galecki played one of the season’s leads, Leonard Hofstadter, the roommate and friend of Sheldon Cooper. Since the series wrapped Johnny has remained largely out of the public eye, only appearing in a handful of episodes in the Roseanne reboot.
Simon Helberg
Known best for his portrayal of Howard Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory, Simon Helberg has remained acting in movies and television shows since the iconic series ended, with credits including Poker Face, Space Oddity and As They Made Us. He also is busy raising his two kids who he keeps out of the public eye.
Mayim Bialik
Mayim Bialik was a natural fit for the cast of Big Bang Theory when she joined the show as neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler. Since filming wrapped she has remained busy, hosting Jeopardy, hosting a podcast and actively posting on Tik Tok.
Kunal Nayyar
Since playing the awkward and loveable Raj Koothrappali on The Big Bang Theory, Kunal has worked on the Apple TV+ series Suspicion and voiced a character in the Trolls movies. In 2022 he also starred as a lead in the romantic drama, The Storied Life of A.J. Fikray opposite Lucy Hale.
Melissa Rauch
Playing the memorable Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory, Melissa has since joined the cast of The Night Court reboot. She has also worked as a voice-over artist on a number of children’s movies and shows including, Sofia the First, Batman and Harley Quin, Cats and Dogs 3 and Blaze and the Monster Machines.
