On Sunday Night’s episode of 60 Mins, it was sensationally alleged that Cassie Sainsbury, who was arrested on April 13 at Bogota’s El Dorado airport with 5.8 kilograms of cocaine in her luggage, worked as a prostitute at a Western Sydney Brothel in the past.
The Nine Network claims the allegations have been under investigations in the last fortnight and has done so by speaking to several sources.
A Sydney woman who has claimed she was a former colleague of Sainsbury’s told 60 Mins she worked under the name “Claudia”.
According to the source, the 22-year-old allegedly worked at Penrith-based 220 Gentleman’s Club as recent as August last year.

The alleged former colleague also told the network that Sainsbury had lied to gain finances in the past and even told people her mother had died.
“She said her mum was suffering from MS and was in a private hospital in Sydney, that she didn’t have private health insurance but Cassandra had done a deal with the hospital for reduced fees but she’d run up quite a debt,” she claimed.
“Then… she had a phone call saying that her mum was dying, and then another call saying her mum had died, passed away from MS… all while she was at the brothel.”
