After taking us on another vacation to Thailand, it’s safe to say that Season 3 of The White Lotus definitely went out with a bang (no pun intended).
This season was a whirlwind of drama, smoothies, and unexpected twists that kept fans hooked from start to finish, and if we weren’t already dreaming of our next vacation, the finale has left us with *lots* of questions.
Now that the curtain has closed on the Ratliff’s Thai getaway, fans are holding out for any new clues as to where we will be checking in for The White Lotus Season 4, and thanks to the series’ creator Mike White, we have a few clues on what to expect for our next TV holiday.

Will there be a The White Lotus Season 4?
In case you missed the memo, HBO confirmed in January 2025 that The White Lotus would 100% be returning for Season 4.
With the series renewed before the first episode of the third season dropped, it’s safe to say that the series has been a major cultural phenomenon, and while they haven’t revealed where the series will be set just yet, we do know for certain that another chaotic vacay is on the way.
Where will The White Lotus Season 4 be set?
After visiting the shores of Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand, the million dollar question for every White Lotus fan remains; Where will they go to next?
Although nothing has been confirmed at this stage, in February 2025, HBO’s Head of Drama Francesca Orsi revealed that the production crew were already on the hunt for the next location.
“We’re going on some location scouting in the next couple of weeks, so we’ll know soon. I can’t really say where we’re going to land, but chances are somewhere in Europe,” she told Deadline.
One thing we do know for certain is that the next season will be set within the confines of a Four Seasons Hotel somewhere in the world – thanks to the franchise’s ongoing partnership with the hotel chain.
With the crew teased to opt for yet another warm weather climate, some fans have speculated whether the series could be coming to Australia, and in good news for Aussie viewers, series creator Mike White has teased previously that he’d love to bring the show Down Under.
“My dream would be to hit every continent… We kind of have to come to Australia if we keep going. It would be so fun,” Mike said during a Vivid Sydney event in 2023, adding, “Obviously, there’s a huge wealth of talent here, and the beauty is inarguable, so it feels like it checks all the boxes.”
When is The White Lotus Season 4 release date?
If Season 3 wasn’t enough White Lotus action for you, we’ve got some good news and bad news.
Although the series will definitely be in production, it is not set to commence filming until the second half of 2025, meaning fans can anticipate a late 2026 or early 2027 release date for The White Lotus Season 4.
