David Corenswet is turning heads as the new Superman actor. And yet, the fantasies of his millions of new fans will all be in vain because it seems Superman is already married!
Corenswet , 32, recently took to the red carpet with his wife of two years, Julia Best Warner, 34—a rare formal outing by the couple.

Who is David Corenswet’s wife?
The new Superman actor is married to fellow actor Julia Best Warner. While little is known about her, we can report she studied theatre at Pittsburgh and has a few acting credits to her name.
Her IMdB page confirms she had a guest spot in the Ryan Murphy series Ratched, and led a four-episode mini series called The Babysitters Pub.
Julia keeps a low-profile online, posting rarely to her Instagram. She appears to relish the company of her family and friends, who feature prominently on her social media. She also posts a lot of holiday, nature and home snaps, offering some insight into her interests.

David and Julia are childhood sweethearts, in a sense, having met at a theatre camp as teens. However, David described it to People as a “slow-burn romance”, not officially getting together until some time in the 2020s. In 2022, Julia posted one of their first public photos together from a summer holiday.

David Corenswet and Julia Warner do indeed have a child: a daughter born in 2024. Although the couple keeps their family life private, David has shared the odd insight into fatherhood, revealing their daughter arrived around the time he started filming Superman. News of the pregnancy also coincided with news of his casting in the major superhero franchise.
“She told me that she was pregnant two days after I found out I was going to screen test for Superman,” David said in an interview with People. “For the first several months of her pregnancy, as is sort of protocol, we weren’t telling anybody. We had these two quite huge secrets that we just had between the two of us.”
Opening up to People, David was excited about having children, saying, “I feel like I’ve been a dad for a long time, and just waiting for a kid to prove it.”

David and Julia are also pet parents to a dog named Ira. The brown Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has stepped into the spotlight with Corenswet posting videos of him and Ira on the Superman set. Warner has also shared a snap of her with the adorable pup.

We know you were wondering! David Corenswet is reportedly 6’4″. This is three inches taller than previous Superman Henry Cavill. David is the same height as Christopher Reeve, who played Superman in the 1970s and 80s film franchise.
