Most fans remember when they first jumped on the Glen Powell bandwagon. At this stage, it seems Glen Powell is single. The actor was previously linked to Gigi Paris however they split in early 2023 following rumours surrounding Glen and his co-star Sydney Sweeney.

Did Sydney and Glen hook up?
In early 2023 when Glen was in Australia filming Anyone But You alongside co-star Sydney, many fans began speculating that there was something “more” to the pair’s friendship.
Shortly after these rumours began Glen and his girlfriend Gigi split after three years of dating which added fuel to the fire. However, the rumours appear to be just that – rumours.
“It’s a rom-com,” Sydney told Variety in an August 2023 interview about how the co-stars purposely leaned into dating rumours to promote their film. “That’s what people want!”
“Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker. We’re excited for the press tour, and I literally just left ADR with him. We talk all the time like, ‘That’s really funny.’”
Speaking to Men’s Health in November 2023, Glen opened up about the rumours surrounding his relationship with Sweeney following his split from Gigi, telling the publication, “When all that stuff happened, you know, publicly, it felt disorientating and unfair.”
“What I’m realising is that’s just part of this gig now,” he continued.
Men’s Health writer Lauren Larson also came to Glen’s defence, writing, “Powell looks at everyone like that… He looks lovingly at the hostess as she seats him, and then he looks lovingly at the server who takes his order… He cannot possibly be having a secret affair with all of them. His default facial expression seems to be simply ‘I love you’.”
Now, over a year after the film was released, fans have still been heavily on the bandwagon that *something* must have happened between Glen and Sydney, however, both actors set the record straight to Vanity Fair in November 2024 – reminding fans of the power of publicity.
“I think what people forget about with a press tour is that it’s its own sense of entertainment. I don’t think it’s duplicitous,” Glen shared, adding, “I love [Sydney]. She’s the greatest. If you’re not having fun with his job, then I think you get burnt out.”
“We just had a really good time, so we have just a great friendship and really cheer for each other and it’s been a fun ride to do this thing together.”
Echoing her co-star’s sentiments, Sydney shared, “Once [Anyone But You] did become a success, a lot of the interviews were just questions about it, so I don’t know if we necessarily were planning on ever talking about the [marketing] strategy behind any of it.”
“We are definitely very supportive of each other’s careers… I just saw him last week and we were talking through some projects, so we definitely have a really great working relationship. We would absolutely love to work on something else together.”
Who has Glen Powell Dated?
Gigi Paris (January 2020 – April 2023)
Glen was first linked to Gigi, a model, in January 2020 after the pair were spotted on vacation together in Mexico. The couple kept their relationship quiet for around a year before going “Instagram official” on Valentine’s Day 2021.
Following their public debut, the pair made a number of red carpet appearances together and shared numerous behind-the-scenes looks into their relationship on social media.
In April 2023 following rumours surrounding Glen and his co-star Sydney, Gigi appeared to hint that she and Glen were no longer together. The model posted a video of herself alongside the caption, “Know your worth & onto the next.”
Shortly after Gigi’s post, People reported that sources had confirmed the pair’s split.
“Gigi and Glen had broken up several times,” one source told the publication. “They had been on the rocks since ‘Top Gun’ came out. Gigi was never happy with the long-distance filming and when she came to Australia [to visit Powell where he was filming Anyone But You], they both decided to break up for good.”
A second source told the publication, “It wasn’t about infidelity. She’s on different coasts modelling, he’s on different coasts filming. When she left [Australia], they were on great terms.”
Renee Bargh (2018-2019)
In November 2018 US Weekly reported that Glen was dating Renee, an Extra TV host. According to multiple sources, the pair had been together for around six months at the time of the news breaking.
Although the pair refrained from commenting on their relationship, by November 2019 Renee confirmed to The Daily Mail that she was single.
Nina Dobrev (January 2017 – November 2017)
Glen and Nina were first linked in January 2017 when they were spotted in an Instagram post hanging together with mutual friends. Rumours ramped up when they were spotted attending a Golden Globes afterparty the same month, despite reps for both actors telling E! News they were just “good friends.”
The couple hard-launched their relationship in July of the same year, with Nina sharing sweet photo-booth snaps of the pair on Twitter.
By November the couple had reportedly split, with E! News reporting the couple were taking a break.
“Nina just wrapped on a project and is about to start another and her schedule has been a huge part of it,” a source told the publication at the time. “They haven’t been spending much time together since the end of the summer.”
