Tennis legend, commentator, and powerhouse Jelena Dokic has always been open and candid about her life on and off the court.
After a high-profile split from her husband of 19 years, Tin Bikic in 2022, the former world No.4 has been candid about navigating life after heartbreak and her journey to self-discovery.
The 42-year-old shared on her Instagram in July 2025 that she is well and truly loved up.
“You are my calm, safe, peaceful and happy place. So glad I found you ❤️,” she wrote on July 14, 2025.

Jelena faced intense scrutiny from an early age, enduring not just the pressures of elite sport but also personal struggles that were often laid bare for the world to see.
From dealing with the highs and lows of her career as well as her challenges with her body image, Jelena has been open about the toll it’s taken on her mental health and self-worth.
Speaking with 9Honey, the tennis star shared that, “It’s hard sometimes being [in the] public eye and people want to know things, and I get that.”
“I’ve been alone for a long time… I think everyone’s journey is unique, everyone’s healing journey is unique, whether it comes to your private life or your professional life, and that’s what healing and taking care of yourself is.
“You’ve got to find what works for you.”

Who is Jelena Dokic dating?
Jelena Dokic is dating Yane Veselinov, as shared on her Instagram in July 2025.
Previously, she was married to Tin Bikic, but the pair parted ways at the end of 2021 after 19 years together.
Jelena shared in her book, Fearless: Finding the power to thrive, that “This break-up led me into one of the hardest times of my life.
“It still hurts my heart now – I think it always will. I thought long and hard about writing this chapter because our separation was, and still can be, incredibly difficult for me to talk about.
“But I believe my experience is worthwhile sharing because so many of us go through heartbreak in one way or another. I guess it is part of being human – losing people we love. And I think talking about that, and being able to share our pain with others, is one way to deal with these kinds of losses.”
