Purple Wiggle John Pearce and his wife Jessie have announced they have welcomed their first child!
Sharing the exciting news to Instagram, the former Justice Crew star wrote, “HENRY NICHOLAS ADAMO PEARCE 16.12.24 🩵 Welcome to the world our beautiful angel. We have never felt a love like this.”
Following the announcement, friends and fans took to social media to share their congratulations.
“No better feeling in the world. Huge congratulations to you all. Well done Jess!!! 👏🏼🤍,” wrote Sam Mac.
“Gorgeous boy little Henry 😍 congratulations Mama and Papa, can’t wait to meet the little treasure 💜,” added Red Wiggle Caterina Mete.
News of the couple’s newest family member comes just over six months since John and Jessie announced they were expecting, writing to Instagram in June, “It has been a long journey but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us. We are so full of joy and can’t wait to meet you 🩵”
Shortly after their pregnancy announcement, Jessie, who has been married to The Wiggles star since 2019, opened up on the difficulties the couple had faced in their almost three-year journey of starting a family.
“In line with PCOS awareness month, we thought we’d share our personal fertility journey. Although it was challenging, we tried to always hold onto hope,” Jessie wrote.
“Recognising that every journey is unique and some paths are tougher and longer than others. Our goal is to make at least one person feel less alone and inspired to stay hopeful… We hope our story brings comfort and encouragement to those navigating their own unique journey.”
Prior to welcoming their son Henry, John and Jessie had cultivated a loyal fan following for their adorable videos together on social media.
The couple, who have been together since 2012, tied the knot in 2019 – bringing fans along with them for many of the pivotal moments of their big day.
Celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary on October 19, 2024, John shared a selection of snaps from their wedding day alongside the simple caption, “Love you always @jessieadamopearce.”
