Alongside clips from her Sportish podcast, Libby’s social media is filled with regular updates of her life with her growing family, with the swimmer most recently taking to Instagram to pay tribute to her youngest daughter Bronte’s fifth birthday.
“The meaning of the name Bronte is thunder. We knew it was the right name for her because she came thundering into our lives five years ago and has never stopped, She is one who will change the world… I find it such a privilege to guide and support her (even though it can be incredibly frustrating and tiring at times).”
In August 2024, Libby also shared a heartfelt message to mark her eldest daughter’s ninth birthday, writing, “Poppy is 9. Totally surreal to be here.”
“With all of their birthdays but particularly Poppy’s I feel a deep sense of gratitude with everything we’ve experienced together (especially our challenging first year together). I’m so proud of her. She’s one of the most fun, interesting, and interested people I know. She’s angry AF sometimes but her little brother melts her. She is always up for an adventure even when she’s scared.”
