Princess Diana might have done it in a black off-the-shoulder mini, but Natalie Portman opted for an itty-bitty black bikini for her “revenge dress” outfit.
The 43-year-old showed ex-husband Benjamin Millepied exactly what he’s missing when she hit the coastal cliffs of the French Riviera on May 18.
With her incredible physique on display, Portman appeared carefree and ready for some fun – taking to the tall diving board at the famed Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.
The actress was all smiles as she jumped into the crystal clear waters below, followed closely by a mystery man.
The outing comes more than a year after Portman’s divorce from her ex-husband – and father of her two children, Aleph, 13, and Amalia, 8 – was finalised.
The former couple filed for divorce in July 2023 after 11 years of marriage following his alleged affair with climate change activist Camille Étienne.
“It was initially really tough for her, but her friends rallied around her and helped get her through the worst of it,” a friend told People magazine of the split.
While Portman’s only comment about the divorce came in a February interview with Vanity Fair, when she described it as “terrible”, she’s made it clear she’s moving on. The actress has been busy promoting her current films, French animation Arco and Apple TV+’s Fountain of Youth, in both Cannes and New York respectively. And it was recently announced she’ll next star in upcoming rom-com Good Sex, alongside Mark Ruffalo and Tucker Pillsbury.
She’s also dipped her toe back into the dating pool, having been linked to French music producer Tanguy Destable earlier this year. And while Portman is said to not be giving much thought to her ex, fans are quietly cheering on this new chapter.
“Her ex-husband blew it,” one commented online. “Imagine being married to a beautiful, successful woman, sharing two young children together and being so short-sighted that it wasn’t enough … I hope Portman continues to live her best life.”
