The romance between The Bachelor star Snezana Wood’s daughter and Collingwood VFL player Ben Silvagni – son of Carlton great Steven Silvagni – is heating up, new photos of the pair show.
Eve Markoksi first sparked rumours she was dating the AFL legend’s son after sharing a cheeky Instagram post on July 21 2024.
The aspiring model and content creator posted a photo of Collingwood VFL player Ben Silvagni – son of Carlton great Steven Silvagni – at a cafe in Lygon Street in Melbourne, with a cute pooch perched on his lap.
Silvagni, 24, posted a similar image of Markoski cuddling the pup on his own social media, giving rise to speculation that the pair were on a date and ‘’soft launching’’ their relationship.
In August, new photos of the pair proved their relationship is only getting stronger,
The loved-up duo were spotted together with the puppy, getting takeaway coffee at the Pantry cafe in Brighton.
At one point Silvagni could be seen appearing to tenderly tuck Markosi’s hair behind her ear in an affectionate display.
Markoski, 19, is Wood’s daughter from her first marriage to Motocross rider Jason Rapoff (Markoski is Snezana’s maiden name).
After that marriage ended, Snezana met and fell in love with Sam Wood on the 2015 season of The Bachelor, with the pair becoming one of the most successful and popular couples in the show’s history.
Eva was 9 at the time and appeared on the show, as her mum got to know Sam – and see if he could be stepdad material.
After handing Snezana his final red rose, the pair married in 2018, and have gone on to have another three daughters together – Willow, 7, Charlie, 5, and Harper, 2 (together with their choc labrador Hendrix, that makes for a big, beautiful blended family of seven!)
In 2022, Sam was already indicating that Eve, 17 at the time, had started dating a footballer.
Speaking on the Fitzy & Wippa radio show, the 44-year-old fitness guru said a few strict rules had already been put in place.
The unnamed boyfriend wasn’t allowed to sleep over, and the door in Eve’s room had to be open when he visited, Sam said.
‘’It’s new. He is a really nice fella. Full forward in the footy team,’’ he added (without specifying which footy team!)
When Eve attended her Year 12 Ball that same year, Snezana proudly shared stunning pictures of her lookalike daughter posing in a gorgeous silver halter neck dress.
‘’Last night was our little Vivi’s Yr 12 formal,’’ Snezana wrote.
Fans were quick to comment on how grown-up Eve looked and how much she looked like her mum.
‘’Grown into a stunning young lady,’’ one follower commented.
‘’Wow, I remember when she was just a kid when you were on the show, and now look at her!’’ noted another.
Eva had already taken on some modelling work before graduating from high school.
She posted a picture of herself wearing a bikini by Australian brand Triangl, and her Instagram, which boasts more than 43,000 followers, is packed with pictures showing her love of fashion and dressing up.
Snezana confirmed her daughter was keen on pursuing a fashion career when the pair attended the Melbourne Fashion Festival in 2022.
As they got ready to attend a show, Snezana wrote on Instagram: ‘’Mother daughter date night with “eve.vict who is working towards a career in fashion and is absolutely killing it.’’
Eve’s current LinkedIn bio describes her as a ‘’fashion content creator’’ and ‘’digital assistant’’.
After graduating from Melbourne’s Caulfield Grammar, she began studying a Bachelor of Business Administration in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising.
‘’As a fashion content creator, I produce engaging and informative content for various online platforms such as blogs, social media and websites,’’ her bio reads.
‘’I have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends, styles and aesthetics.’’
She’s also worked at fashion retailers including Nike and luxury Italian brand Bottega Veneta.
The sportsman is the son of Jo Bailey and AFL legend Stephen Silvagni, and the grandson of the late Sergio Silvagni.
He has more than 17,000 followers on Instagram, where he regularly posts about football and, occasionally, more personal moments – such as Carlton coffee dates with ‘’friends’’!
