Season two of the hit HBO show all but proved this three-point theory, as fans turned into detectives to uncover the secrets of the hotel guests and employees, booked holidays to Sicily, and fawned over Leo Woodall and Theo James.
So, as season three geared up for a 2025 premiere, we knew what to expect: More sleuthing, interest in Thailand resorts, and a new ‘hot boy of the month.’
What we didn’t quite expect was that TikTok’s latest obsession would be Walton Goggins.
Walton Goggins, who has made a name for himself playing complex and often morally ambiguous characters in shows like Justified, The Righteous Gemstones, and Sons of Anarchy, found himself in the internet’s spotlight on the last season of White Lotus, and the obsession only deepened after Fallout premiered and everyone become even more invested.
With Walton landing in Sydney on November 24 for the Fallout season two premiere, our attention is once again on the actor.
But while the world is busy thirsting over Walton, there’s one person who’s been appreciating him long before the TikTok hype: his wife, Nadia Conners. So, who is she, and what’s their love story? Here’s what you need to know.
Is Walton Goggins married?
Yes! Walton Goggins has been married to Nadia Conners since 2011. The two first met in 2005 on what was essentially a blind date—though Walton didn’t initially realise it was a setup.
Unbeknownst to Walton, his friend set him up on a blind date while he was supposed to be at a business dinner raising money. When he arrived at the dinner, he ended up spending the whole evening speaking with his now-wife.
“I didn’t talk to anyone there that I was supposed to talk to, and at the end of it, she said, ‘You’re going to take me home, right?’ ” he previously explained. “And I said ‘Uh, yes.’ ”
Sparks flew, and after six years together, they tied the knot. Over the years, they’ve built a solid partnership, supporting each other through personal and professional milestones.
Who is Nadia Conners?
Nadia Conners is a writer, director, and filmmaker with a passion for storytelling. She co-directed the 2007 environmental documentary The 11th Hour alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and, more recently, made her narrative feature debut with The Uninvited, which premiered at SXSW in 2024. The film, inspired by a real-life party she and Walton hosted, stars Pedro Pascal, Elizabeth Reaser, and Rufus Sewell.
In March 2024, Walton took to Instagram to celebrate his wife as The Uninvited premiered.
“20 years she’s been working towards this moment,” he wrote in the caption. “To be by her side… with this cast… in this story… has been so emotionally overwhelming…I love you @nadiasomerset. I’m so very proud of you.”
Despite remaining pretty tight-lipped on their relationship, Nadia did share with Architectural Digest that the couple were supportive of each other’s hobbies “Design and art are two of the great love languages. Walt and I find each other in the things that inspire us,” she said. “Walt doesn’t buy a Porsche; he buys a Kerry James Marshall. That’s what he’ll stretch for.”
What happened to Walton Goggins’ first wife?
Before marrying Nadia, Walton was married to Canadian entrepreneur Leanne Kaun, who tragically passed away in 2004. Though they were separated at the time, her passing deeply affected him. He spoke about how the loss left him feeling untethered and how the support of friends and family helped him heal in a rare interview with The Daily Beast in 2019.
“I drifted for upwards of three years after that,” he revealed. “It took me a really long time to come back from it…If it weren’t for the people in my life that cared about me, that stepped in and helped me understand that life goes on, I don’t know what would have happened.”
