Coco Beeby’s win on Big Brother Australia on Monday night was emotional, unforgettable, and full of surprises, not least the fact that she left the house without Bruce’s number. “I haven’t even got his number,” she tells WHO. “Oh my God, I might have to get his number, eh?”

The whopping $135k prize money also brought a sense of relief and joy that Coco said she’s cherishing as a single mum. “I just want my kids to be able to have a mum be fully present this Christmas,” she says. “And that’s what they’re going to get.”

How will Coco spend the Big Brother Australia prize money?

Christmas presents, of course! “It just takes that pressure off. You know, it’s one thing being a single mum, but having that financial stress… you carry it a little bit heavier,” she tells us. Coco revealed that this Christmas will be extra special: “I get to have my kids this Christmas. I didn’t have them last Christmas, and I’m looking forward to having some Chrissy presents under the tree, and yeah, just a whole lot of love.”

Did Coco Beeby expect to win Big Brother Australia?

Coco was shocked by the love she received from viewers after the show, explaining, “When I walked out on stage, and I saw everyone’s faces, and they were screaming my name, I was like, ‘Oh, oh, okay, righto, I’ve done something right here.’ She attributed her win to simply being herself: “I just was myself the entire time,” she muses. “And to be loved for just being completely who I am, that is just crazy to me.”

What Big Brother Australia housemates does Coco want to reunite with?

While she is delighted to have won, Coco is also looking forward to reuniting with housemates. “Alana has been my rock since day one, so I’m so looking forward to catching up with her, Em as well, and then obviously Bruce,” she tells us. She also reflected on her connection with runner-up Emilyrevealing, “I just wanted her to be that person next to me, regardless of what way it would have gone, it felt like we had already won together.”

Will Bruce be spending Christmas with Coco and her kids?

Bruce meeting her kids this Christmas is not on the cards, but Coco is keeping it lighthearted. “I think it’s a little bit too soon for that,” she said. “I’m just looking forward to catching up with Bruce off camera and getting to know each other, just getting back to a bit of normality. I mean, let’s go to the beach, have a surf, have an actual real coffee,” she tells WHO.

What was the highlight of Coco’s time in the Big Brother Australia house?

Coco also shared the emotional highlight of her time in the house, saying, “The highlight for me was when my children called that day on the phone, as soon as I heard their voices, something just went bang. And I literally just changed the way that I was thinking and everything. I was like, ‘Okay, I’ve got drive now.’

What was the hardest part of Big Brother Australia for Coco?

The hardest part, unsurprisingly, was being away from her kids. “Probably just being away from the kids and losing a full sense of time,” the single mum tells us. “It’s like not having a care in the world, but then also completely losing your marbles at the same time.”

What did Big Brother Australia teach Coco about herself?

Reflecting on what the Big Brother experience taught her, Coco said, “I think it taught me resilience, for sure. How to be resilient in really times of despair and how to manage confrontation in a really confined space and how to navigate that without it heightening more emotions.”

Would Coco change anything about her time on Big Brother Australia?

“No, I went in there as myself and I’ve come out myself, so yeah, it’s a win-win. Sometimes I think, I wish I didn’t cry so much, but that’s just me,” she said.

With her kids by her side this Christmas and the playful mystery of Bruce still hanging in the air, Coco is ready to embrace the festive season fully present, grateful, and, of course, still herself.
