Big Brother‘s rebooted 2025 series wrapped up on Monday, December 8, with Coco being crowned the winner in an emotional grand finale.
The mother-of-three, 30, beat her remaining rivals, Emily, Colin, Bruce and Allana, to the $135,000 cash prize, which she described as “life-changing” and representing a “future for her kids.”
Network 10 revived the reality TV series, which previously aired on Channels Seven and Nine, in Australia, following a successful UK reboot, and it’s been a huge success.
But will it be back for another series in 2026?
Here’s everything we know so far.

Will Big Brother Australia return in 2026?
Network 10 has not yet confirmed whether they will renew Big Brother, but host Mel Tracina has dropped a huge hint.
At the end of the live final on December 8, Mel hinted that this is not the end of the road for the reality TV show.
“So, what do you reckon, do you want to do it again next year?” she teased, as she was greeted with rounds of applause from the audience.
At the time of writing, online applications for Big Brother were not open.
“We are sorry, but Big Brother is not open for registration at the moment,” the webpage reads.
Big Brother‘s reboot was a smash success, becoming Network 10’s biggest reality TV show since 2023.
It was also the biggest ever show on 10 streaming and reached more than 6million total viewers.
Streaming was also up 206% when compared to 2023 in a major win for the broadcaster.
If the viewing figures are anything to go by, it seems a done deal that Big Brother will return in 2026.

Why was Big Brother Australia cancelled?
Big Brother made its debut Down Under in 2001 on Network 10 after finding huge success in the UK and the US.
Gretel Killeen hosted the series for eight series before it was cancelled in July 2008 due to falling ratings.
It briefly returned in 2012 on Channel Nine and was picked up by Channel Seven for an attempted reboot in 2019.
However, Seven’s iteration was paused in 2023 due to low ratings, and it was removed from its 2024 programming slate.
In a full-circle moment, Big Brother then returned to its original channel this year and launched to huge fanfare.
