Elsa Pataky turned 40 on July 18, and Chris Hemsworth has made sure his wife’s milestone occasion is one to remember.
The Ghostbusters actor took the mother of his three children to Hamilton Island’s luxury Qualia resort in a private jet to celebrate her special day.
On arrival, Hemsworth, who is filming Thor: Ragnarok on the Gold Coast, uploaded a snap of himself practising martial arts on the edge of an infinity pool.
“Channeling my Kung Fu panda at @qualiaresort on Hamilton Island, another incredible place to visit in @australia #whitsundays,” he captioned the Instagram shot.
Earlier in the day, Pataky, who was born in Madrid, Spain, shared an excited snap of herself jumping in the air before boarding the private jet.
“Best birthday ever, thanks for all the birthday wishes! Not sure if @chrishemsworth is attempting to catch me or push me out of the plane here but fun either way!!! @australia #bestimes#love #birthday,” she wrote.
Hemsworth also penned a tribute to his wife on Instagram alongside a sweet snap of The Fast & the Furious actress blowing out burning candles.
‘Happy birthday to the world’s best wife, greatest mum and all round stunning human!! Love you loads and thanks for letting me help blow out the candles,’ he wrote.
The couple, who have been married six years, are parents to daughter India Rose, 4, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, 2. They recently purchased a family home close to Byron Bay, NSW, where they are now based.
