NEED TO KNOW
- Jason lost three women along the way — Jess, Jessica, and Beth all walked, leaving him with the smallest final group of the farmers.
- He chose Poppy, an Ipswich business development manager, over Logan, but the pair clashed on how soon they wanted kids (if at all).
- Jason and Poppy confirmed that they were still together at the reunion.
- Jason has since spoken out about how Poppy dumped him after this final filming moment.
Farmer Jason had a tough run throughout Farmer Wants A Wife, with not one, not two, but three women choosing to walk away from the show.
Two of the women, Jess and Jessica, struggled with the constant competition for Jason’s attention, while Beth ultimately missed her daughter too much to continue, leaving the dairy farmer with a smaller group than the rest of the men.
However, he landed with two great women at the end — Logan and Poppy — and ultimately opted for the latter, a successful business development manager from Ipswich, Queensland.
While the pair confirmed that they were going strong at the reunion, which was filmed in January, we’re now wondering whether they have managed to stay together since.
Here’s everything we know.
Jason and Poppy clashed over the topic of children
A major point of contention between the pair was the topic of children.

Already a father, Jason was eager to find someone who could be a stepmother to his two kids and ideally find someone open to having more; however, Poppy expressed children wasn’t the top of her list.
She was open to the idea, but explained her priority was to get out and “explore the world with my partner”.
It was something that Logan spoke to WHO about, explaining she was a little confused why Poppy was chosen despite wanting something very different from the farmer.
“For me – when it was out of both of us – the fact that he still had Poppy there, I guess, I was like, well, obviously he doesn’t really want [more kids] then,” Logan said. “Because I know if I were in that position and someone had those opinions – especially on something so big like that – I wouldn’t have even looked twice at them.”
Poppy called it quits shortly after the reunion
During the reunion, the pair claimed they were still going strong and were grateful to live so close together to keep their relationship alive.
However, now that the episode has aired, Jason has come forward to confirm that Poppy ended their relationship only a week after the reunion.
“We flew back to Brisbane [after the reunion], and spent the night in Brisbane at a friend’s place,” Jason told Chattr. “Then I went back to where I lived and she went back to where she lived, and then, she went sort of quiet that week, then we split up.
“She called it off the following Saturday.”

Jason believes Poppy had already made up her mind before the reunion
The farmer then went on to confess that he felt Poppy had already made her mind up about their relationship before they met for the reunion, which makes a lot more sense after seeing their body language on the couch.
Sadly, the farmer revealed that he was “in love with her” and the breakup was “a bit of a shock”.
Her reason? She “wasn’t feeling it” – which, of course, isn’t a crime, but is never nice to hear from the other side.
“She just said, ‘It’s basically just a quick phone call, just letting you know you didn’t do anything wrong, you’re a good person. I’m just not feeling it,’” he explained to Chattr. “She seemed like she wanted to quickly have the phone call and get it over and done with, and then she said what she said, and I was in a little bit of shock at how she sort of came across, and then I didn’t really ask why.
“I just thought, ‘Oh well, I don’t want to force someone to like me, so I’ll just leave it at that. It was like a one-minute phone call.”
This is the second time the farmer applied for the show, and so we were holding our breath all season that he would find the one.
While there are never any regrets in trying, our thoughts go out to the heartbroken farmer as he continues to search for the one.
