Farmer Wants A Wife viewers have been left doing a double take after one eagle-eyed fan spotted the farmer’s uncanny resemblance to Australian track cyclist Leigh Hoffman.
Sharing a Commonwealth Games medal-tally graphic featuring the decorated athlete, she couldn’t help but notice that his wavy hair, prominent moustache and strikingly similar features looked rather… familiar.
“Are we sure Dylan didn’t go to the Com games lol. Talk about [a] doppelganger!” she wrote.
And honestly, we get where she’s coming from because once you see it, it’s surprisingly difficult to unsee.
In fact, the resemblance is so uncanny that we wouldn’t blame anyone for thinking Dylan had temporarily swapped the farm for the velodrome.
Who is Dylan’s doppelganger, Leigh Hoffman?
Leigh is a 26-year-old Australian cyclist from Whyalla, South Australia, and it turns out he has far more achievements to his name than a passing resemblance to Farmer Dylan.
The cyclist made his Commonwealth Games debut in Birmingham in 2022, where he won gold as part of Australia’s men’s team sprint squad.
He went on to claim bronze in the team sprint at the 2024 Paris Olympics, before delivering a dominant performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Leigh left the games with four medals: gold in the individual sprint, team sprint and 1000m time trial, as well as silver in the keirin.
His victory in the 1000m time trial was particularly impressive, with the cyclist setting a new Commonwealth Games record on his way to the top of the podium.
While their lives may be worlds apart, both know a thing or two about chasing a dream: for Leigh, it was gold, and for Dylan, it was love.

Farmer Dylan has left fans doing a double take before
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time a photo on social media has left people scratching their heads when it comes to Farmer Dylan.
The 24-year-old recently appeared in photos on the Free Flow Plumbing website, where he was pictured working as a fourth-year plumbing apprentice outside Adelaide.
Dylan looked so different in the images that one member of the WHO team initially thought the man pictured must have been his brother.
As if being a sheep farmer and rodeo cowboy wasn’t enough, Dylan also works as a fourth-year plumbing apprentice just outside Adelaide.
Clearly, he likes to keep himself busy.
Between his plumbing photos and newly discovered Commonwealth Games doppelganger, Dylan seems to have collected quite the cast of alter egos.
Plumber, farmer, rodeo cowboy, and, in another universe, champion cyclist.
He certainly has range.
