Farmer Wants A Wife fans were left heartbroken for Kimberley on Monday night when Farmer Jason decided to send her home and keep Logan and Poppy on his farm.
Kimberley and Jason famously knew each other before she joined the show, which made the other women quite jealous of their shared history and viewers almost certain that the pair would end up together.
However, Kimberley told WHO that she never stood a chance because she came in partway through the experience as an intruder, chosen by Jason’s family.
Kimberley shuts down theories that she had an advantage
“Clearly, our previous connection wasn’t an advantage,” she told us. “I felt like I wasn’t really given the opportunity to explore that connection because, by the time I arrived, it felt like his mind was already made up.
“It was disappointing because I genuinely believed there was something worth exploring in person. I guess that idea got put out to pasture pretty quickly.”
She added that she was “devastated” when she was told she would be leaving the farm.
Why intruders have no place on Farmer Wants A Wife
Kimberley then called out the producers over the move to include ‘intruders’ on the show, saying, “No woman should have to arrive late. Over the years, it’s become pretty clear that it’s incredibly difficult to build meaningful connections when everyone else has already had that extra time together.”
She continued, “Jason had already told the producers that he knew me when he was selecting his ladies, and my understanding is that our previous connection is why I was brought in as the new arrival.
“I hoped that previous connection would help make up for the lost time, but unfortunately it just wasn’t enough.”
Fans heartbroken after Jason sends Kimberley home
Kimberley was not the only one devastated by Jason’s decision to send her on her way, with fans also unimpressed with the farmer’s choice.
“So you want more kids and keep a lady there that has made it abundantly clear that she doesn’t want kids?,” one aggrieved viewer wrote online. “And send the girl home that jumped straight into farm life?”
“That was a mistake,” another agreed. “Had the most in common with Kimberley.”
“He sent the wrong one home she was the perfect woman for him,” wrote a third. “She was so down to earth.”

Kimberley responded to the viewers in the comments and in a separate post in a Facebook group.
“Well… that’s a wrap on my Farmer Wants a Wife journey,” she began. “To everyone who supported me, sent kind messages, and saw beyond the edit — thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
“What made it to air was just one chapter, not the whole story, and only a tiny glimpse of an experience that was mostly unseen by those who weren’t living it.”
She finished by saying, “I’m no longer going to cry over spilt milk. After all, the grass is greener when the cameras are off. Thank you for backing me every step of the way—you guys are utterly legen-dairy!”
