Farmer Wants a Wife has officially kicked off, and this year we have five new farmers ready to fall in love – Farmers Jarrad, Zac, Alex, Jason and Dylan.
With one of the highest success rates in Australia for a reality show about finding love, this reality show’s 16th season will see five farmers, aged 24 to 41, looking for their soulmate.
Hailing all the way from Queensland to South Australia, these five farmers will navigate the difficulties of rural romance from first dates to final decisions.
Grab your akubras, ladies! These farmers are apparently so hot that even host Natalie Gruzlewski lost her train of thought.
“Sorry, I’m getting a bit distracted talking to you. You sound like the dream man,” she said when addressing one of the farmers.
Yep, we’re so ready for this season.
Who are the farmers in Farmer Wants a Wife 2026?
Each season, the same question hangs on everyone’s lips: which farmer will propose?
As we soak in this Aussie bush fairy tale, here are all the farmers (and their qualities) to study up on before the wholesome show begins.

Farmer Jarrad
41-year-old almond farmer from Taylorville, SA
Instagram: @thealmondfarmer
Big on family, kindness and keeping an open heart, Jarrad’s the kind of bloke who can whip up a great meal, lead an outdoor adventure and still have time for a deep chat. He also just happens to be run the Casarosa Almonds business – aka “Almond Farmer” – and has a limitless supply of chocolate-flavoured almond butter. Sign me up!
He’s after a genuine woman who values honesty, laughs easily and doesn’t sweat the small stuff.

“I value a partner who is family-oriented, caring, and nurturing. Good communication is important to me, as I believe honesty and understanding are the foundation of a strong relationship,” he says. “Life’s more fun when you enjoy the little things, support each other and keep learning together.”
Farmer Jarrad’s final five ladies are: Brodie, Cara, Carly, Georgia, and Yvonne.

Farmer Dylan
24-year-old sheep farmer from Cherry Gardens, SA
This rodeo-riding, sheep-farming cowboy would take wide-open skies over city lights any day.
Dylan spends his time on horseback, chasing calves or caring for orphaned wildlife, with a love for travel and the outdoors. Ummm, tick and tick!

He’s looking for a confident, straight-talking woman – “someone who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to take the bull by the horns!”
“If you tell one lie, you go on to tell ten. So I need a partner that is just straight up and doesn’t play games,” he says.
Farmer Dylan brought back Ally, Lily, Renae, Scarlett and Tenille to the farm.

Farmer Alex
28-year-old cattle and mushroom farmer from Kin Kin, QLD
Grounded yet creative, Alex is as happy cooking up Italian or Japanese feasts as he is tearing up the dance floor or writing poetry.
Sport, hiking and live music are his love languages, and he’s always chasing new experiences.
This “nerd at heart” wants someone fun, artistic and cheeky, with a big appetite for life.

“I am looking for someone who is deeply connected with themselves and the world around them,” he says. “I would like my partner to appreciate the importance of an earnest connection with friends and family. I hope they are someone who stands by what they say and can lead with kindness.”
Farmer Alex has chosen to bring Delia, Eddy, Gabbie, Rachel and Suzannah to the farm

Farmer Jason
37-year-old dairy farmer from Coolabunia, QLD
Known as the “gentle giant” to his mates, Jason’s an easy-going, family-first kind of guy with two young kids who are his whole world (but he’s not shy about wanting more!).
He’s ready to make memories, plan adventures and share laughs with a fun, genuine partner who’s got a beautiful smile and knows how to relax.
He is also isn’t afraid of a woman who is up to do it all – work, travel, and relax – and is excited to share these moments together.

“You can have your own career, and I’ll support you in that,” he said. “But, I’d also love to have someone who is up for travel. I believe that in farming you should still try and get away and explore, not just work every day.”
Farmer Jason chose to bring Beth, Jessica, Jessie, Logan and Poppy back to his farm.

Farmer Zac
24-year-old apple farmer from Forest Range, SA
Sporty and social, Zac’s the type to gather friends for a home-cooked feast, often featuring his crème brûlée or famous brownies.
An AFL player since he was six, he’s honest, playful and big on physical affection.
He wants a driven partner who’s happy to cheer each other on through life’s ups and downs.

“I am looking for someone who is outgoing and confident, that can get along with my mates and my family. I want someone who can fit in anywhere and is able to kick back, have fun and ‘take the piss’,” he says.
He loves a bit of “banter” and is up for “a lady with a great sense of humour and a laid-back attitude.”
Farmer Zac’s final five ladies are: Grace, Miranda, Mieke, Maya and Jessica.
