Kim Kardashian West’s business empire spans multiple industries with lines in fashion, beauty, technology and print, and she has also managed to turn her greatest skill, taking selfies, into a profitable venture.
On the weekend a private jet flew in her to the Revolve “Summer Splash” party in the Hamptons to take photos with guests, and Page Six reported that the reality star pocketed $700,000 USD for the appearance. That is a whopping $940,000 AUD – almost one million dollars.
According to the site, Kardashian posed and took selfies with bloggers for just over an hour. The social media maven also reportedly had with her 25 bodyguards.
According to Elle, who was on hand to interview the E! personality at the bash, they had to “make it through two sets of bouncers to speak with the postmodern Cleopatra.”
