There are already rumours of a jungle romance between her and comedian Ash Williams but I’m A Celeb fans are far more invested in Abbie Chatfield’s adorable friendship with Jack Vidgen.
After a trying trial on day two to bring food home to the camp, Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star Abbie, 25, and Australia’s Got Talent winner Jack, 23, who are the youngest celebrities this season, bonded.
The pair even laughed that they would both “have a crack” at comedian Ash Williams if they were “drunk at a bar.”
“Why do I look happier with @jack.vidgen than I ever have with any man I’ve dated? Green team for the win BB!” Abbie captioned a photo of herself and Jack hugging on Instagram.
“Can’t wait for our wedding,” the singer cheekily commented on Abbie’s post.
In fact, fans can’t get enough of Abbie and Jack with many flooding social media with praise for the unofficial power couple.
“Team Jabbie all the way,” one wrote.
“Just love the both of you, stated another.
Only two episodes of this season of I’m A Celeb have aired but Abbie is already facing criticism for her sexuality.
After she entered the jungle in a low-cut dress, trolls were quick to criticise but the 25-year-old clapped back on Instagram in the best way.
“Me @ all of the people on Twitter last night mad about my b00bz. I was about to be forced to have the glorious things in a t shirt for 3 weeks, I had to get them out while I could,” she captioned a series of photos that featured the bullying tweets.
Let’s stop telling women that they are merely sexual objects and then punishing them when they conform to that ideal!! The dress fits that way because I commit the sin of LIKING MY BODY. Love these two bbys in the slides who are real ones.
Of course, her new bestie Jack shared his support by commenting: “GET 👏🏻 EM 👏🏻 OUT 👏🏻 love u x”
Unlike previous seasons, I’m A Celeb is looking a little different this year thanks to the global pandemic.
Abbie, Jack and their fellow contestants filmed the series in Murwillumbah, New South Wales – the same campsite used by the British franchise of the show.
