Australia’s favourite survival-meets-celebrity spectacle is back.
At the network’s 2026 upfronts event on 6 November, Network 10 confirmed that Robert Irwin and Julia Morris will return as hosts for the upcoming season of the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia franchise.
Robert Irwin, who’s currently in the spotlight competing on Dancing With the Stars USA, shared, “I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve got in store this season!”
“Every year the trials get bigger, the stars get braver and the jungle gets wilder. It’s going to be an unforgettable ride. See you in the jungle!”
Meanwhile, Julia Morris praised her co-host and teased that the jungle will be wilder and the trials tougher, “To get to present the show I love, alongside one of the biggest superstars in the world right now, is the purest of joys.”
“Robert and I are beside ourselves to return to our spiritual showbiz home in South Africa for Season 12 of our beloved I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Get ready celebs, we are ready to tango! (Actually, I am not ready to tango).”

When is I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2026 airing?
The 2026 season of I’m A Celebrity will return on January 18, 2026, with filming taking place overseas.
The network confirmed that this edition will be pre-recorded, which is a first for the Australian version of the show.
According to TV Blackbox, it was a decision that was allegedly made for budgeting and production reasons.

Network 10 have confirmed that the show will again be filmed in South Africa.
Who will be on the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2026 lineup?
We don’t know who is on the lineup for the next season just yet.
But on December 1, 2025 Network 10 gave the first hints as to who we can expect to see in the jungle.
In the first teaser clip, Julia says, “Roll out the red carpet, Robert! A Hollywood sitcom star is making his jungle debut.”
To which Robert replies, “Ooh, when he meets a bunch of our jungle friends, he’ll go off with a big bang.”
So, safe to say: there’s a very good chance a cast member from The Big Bang Theory is headed for the jungle in 2026.
In the second teaser clip, Robert tells us, “an international supermodel is strutting her way into Africa.”
They then give another hint by revealing, “she’s related to rock ‘n’ roll royalty”.
In the comments, people have already begun theorising who it might be, with one person suggesting Daisy Lowe, Georgia May Jagger, Ella Richards, Alexandra Richards and Leah Wood as potential I’m A Celeb… contestants.
