Who is the cast of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia 2025?
Unlike other shows that love to spill the drama early, I’m a Celeb keeps the identity of it’s cast members tightly under wraps. Apart from a few celebs who were named days before the season kicked off, fans had to wait for the premiere to find out the full cast details.

Matty J
Former Bachelor Contestant
After weeks of speculation over who the jungle’s latest ‘Romantic Leading Man’ would be, The Bachelor alumni Matty J was revealed as the first contestant joining I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! for 2025.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to survive the African jungle on nothing but zebra testicles and cold beans and this year, it’s going to be a reality. Wish me luck!” Matty captioned the announcement.

Zach Tuohy
AFL Player
After 15 years playing AFL, Zach Tuohy retired from the game at the end of last year. The Irish-born athlete played for Carloton and the Geelong Cats, and is now making himself comfortable in the jungle!
Revealing he is scared of “heights, spiders, snakes [and] gross food,” Zach’s journey on the show will definitely be one to watch.

Tina Provis

Tina Provis is basically Love Island royalty. She appeared on (and won!) the Aussie franchise in season three and then returned for season four before joining the spin-off competition Love Island Games.

Shayna Jack

No, the Aussie Olympian this year is not RayGun – it’s swimming champ Shayna Jack! She’s an Olympic Gold Medalist and three-time world record holder who has traded the pool for the wild.

Samantha Moitzi
Former Married At First Sight contestant
Another reality TV star is in the jungle this year, Samantha Moitzi who previously starred on Married At First Sight Australia.

Max Balegde
UK social media personality
If you’re chronically online like us, then Max Balegde needs no introduction. But, if you’re not familiar with the British Tiktokker then you are in for a treat! With half a million Instagram followers and almost 400 million likes on TikTok, Max had quite the entrance to the jungle after fainting ahead of the height-based challenge.

Geraldine Hickey

Stand-up comedian Geraldine Hickey is already a familiar face on television screens across the country, appearing on shows like The Project, Thank God You’re Here and Have You Been Paying Attention?

From Prisoner and Wentworth to The Man from Snowy River and SeaChange, Sigrid Thornton has been a staple on Aussie screens – and now is entering the jungle.
“Going into the jungle is way out of my comfort zone,” she explained. “I accepted this challenge instinctively and chose not to over analyse that instinct. While I can seem intense, deep down I’m really a bit of a dag. I’m looking forward to having a meaningful shared experience with my campmates.”
Where is I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia filmed?
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia is filmed in South Africa, not the Australian jungle as many might think!
Since 2015, the show has been shot in the stunning wilderness of the South African bush, specifically in the Kruger National Park region. This location offers the perfect blend of rugged terrain, wildlife, and isolation to challenge the celebrities in a way the Aussie jungle couldn’t.
The show made a brief return to Australia amidst the pandemic, with filming taking place in Dungay, New South Wales for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
