After working together to overcome some of the competition’s biggest challenges, each of the 12 contestants proved they were worthy winners, however, only one could be crowned the new King or Queen of the Jungle, with Sam Thaiday being crowned the winner of I’m a Celebrity 2025.

As they marked their final moments in camp, the top three contestants, Reggie Bird, Matty J, and Sam Thaiday, reflected on not only what they’ve learned from the jungle, but from each other.

Thanking Sam for his new role as ‘camp dad’, Matty shared, “I grew up loving the Broncos and loving you play footy. What I saw of you when I was growing up is exactly what I saw of you here in the jungle. I think from the get-go, you were someone who was just a leader. You’ve also brought a lot of fun as well, and it’s been an absolute joy having you around.”

“Reggie, your vision is a lot more than just seeing things. You can feel things. You know, when someone is upset, you know it’s time to go and give them a hug. You can just read a room so well, and that’s what I love about you, Reg, and I think that’s what Australia loves about you, too. I think that’s why you’re here in the top three,” Sam shared.

With their bags packed, hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin led the celebrities through their last moments in camp, and as they prepared to crown the new King of the Jungle, Sam looked back on an incredible journey.

“I thought I was just camping with mates at the end of the day and there were just a lot of cameras around. I just enjoyed the whole, whole thing. I had the conversation with my wife before I came here, it was about leaning into the whole experience, and I was, I was full tilt.”
