If you had any doubt at all that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are really together – and apparently caring a lot less about who knows – here’s the picture proof that should change your mind.
The once very down-low couple, who have never officially confirmed their years-long romance, have recently been the subjects of numerous reports of their increasingly serious relationship. And these images, showing them sharing a kiss on a luxury yacht moored in Florida, leave little doubt that they are still very enthusiastic about their connection.
The pair seem to be enjoying their time in the $8 million, 150-foot Utopia III, which boasts five staterooms, walk-in wardrobes and an attentive staff of ten crew.
Katie has not publicly acknowledged any serious relationship since the 2012 dissolution of her marriage to film superstar Tom Cruise. A source close to the actress unsuccessfully tried to hose down talk of her love for Jamie when asked about their relationship back in 2015.
‘This is not some intense romance,’ the insider told PEOPLE. ‘Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn.’
Things seemed to change by late 2018, however, with an insider finally acknowledging the intensity of the relationship.
‘Their relationship seems so much more serious this year,’ a source told PEOPLE. ‘Katie and Jamie keep having public dates, and although they try to not be photographed together, they are clearly not as concerned about keeping their relationship private.’
Setting a general tone of near silence on her private life in the aftermath of her highly publicised marriage to Cruise, Katie has never even discussed the split, with her attorney setting the tone at the time by announcing, ‘This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.’
Speaking generally of her hopes for the future, Kate told PEOPLE in 2015: ‘I’m a very loving person. Of course I’m open to finding love again.’
