Although Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have known each other for many years, nobody was expecting them to become the next IT couple.
Their connection has unfolded slowly, largely out of the spotlight, and through VIP parties, family gatherings, and award shows… and now, they are making things official with a public appearance at the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show!
The new pairing looked super chic in matching all-black outfits, with Kim keeping her face largely under wraps with an outrageously sized pair of sunglasses on her face… very Kardashian of her!

2014: When Lewis Met Kim
Kim and Lewis are first said to have met at the high-profile event, GQ Men of the Year Awards, in 2014.
The pair attended the event with their former spouses- Kanye West (married to Kim from 2014-2022) and Nicole Scherzinger (dating Lewis from 2007-2015).
At the time, the Formula 1 star already had a friendly relationship with Kim’s sister, Kendall Jenner, who joined him for a lap at the Miami Grand Prix in 2024.
2015: Family Friends
By 2015, Lewis was no longer just a well-known face to Kim, he was someone the Kardashian family clearly trusted.
Kim was married to Kanye West at the time, when the sports star found himself spending Easter with the entire Kardashian-West clan.
Kanye later revealed that Lewis was hanging out at their home, playing music in the studio during a family brunch that included Kim’s relatives and close friends.
Recalling the moment, Kanye said: “Lewis Hamilton’s over at my house and we’re playing some music in my studio. We’re having an Easter brunch and all of the family’s there, my wife’s family, my friends, everything. And everybody’s like, ‘What is this music?’’ And I’m like, ‘It’s Lewis Hamilton’s music.’ They’re like, ‘Oh my God. It’s really good.'”
That same year, Lewis joined Kim and her family once again in the VIP section when Kanye headlined Glastonbury, further proving he wasn’t just passing through their lives.
2019: Momager’s Approval
As the years went on, Lewis’s relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family only deepened.
In 2019, Kris Jenner was seen getting to know Lewis in the pits at the Monaco Grand Prix- a clear sign he has momager’s approval!
2021: Power Duo
In 2021, after Kim and Kanye’s very public split, Kim and Lewis appeared together again- this time backstage at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards.
Lewis was honoured for his achievements in sport, while Kim was celebrated for her Skims empire- the F1 driver later shared a photo of the pair and wrote: “It’s such an honour to be recognised amongst a group of such remarkable talent.”
2025: Ringing in the New Year
In December 2025, the pair were both seen attending Kate Hudson‘s New Year’s Eve Party in Aspen, though they weren’t photographed together.

2026: Romantic getaway
In January 2026, the long-standing friendship appeared to turn into something more after The Sun reported that the pair had enjoyed a secret countryside getaway together in the UK.
According to the outlet, Kim flew from Los Angeles on her private jet to meet Lewis at Estelle Manor, an ultra-luxury country hotel and members’ club in the Cotswolds.
Sources alleged the pair “shared a room, booked a couples massage, and had exclusive use of the hotel’s pool and spa, before sitting down to a private dinner away from other guests.” Three bodyguards were also reportedly on hand to ensure their privacy.
The following morning, Kardashian and Hamilton were said to have checked out around 11am, leaving together in the same two cars Kim had arrived in.
Although neither parties have publicly confirmed a romance, this intimate getaway suggests their connection is far more than casual.
