Konrad Bień-Stephen has shared a loving tribute to his girlfriend, Abbie Chatfield, in honour of a career milestone.
The popular radio and podcast host left her boyfriend bursting with pride when she performed a live show over the weekend at the Sydney Opera House.
Taking to Instagram, Konrad posted a number of photos and videos from the night, and wrote a cute caption to match.
“Last night was the first show of @abbiechatfield tour and she absolutely killed it,” he wrote.
“The emotions leading up to the moment she walked on stage were real, but I always knew you would kill it!”
“You’ve built an amazing career on being yourself and all you have to do is just keep being yourself because you are amazing,” he continued.
“I could go on forever about why I think you are amazing, I want you to know that I’m so proud of you and so proud to be your boyfriend. I love you.”
“I love youuuuu,” Abbie replied in the comments.
“This is the best ever!” wrote fellow internet personality Flex Mami, who guest-starred at Abbie’s show.
“I hope I find a partner to love and build me up like that,” added a fan of the pair.
Abbie and Konrad have been dating since late last year after meeting through a friend in Byron Bay.
At the time, Konrad was starring on The Bachelorette, which was still airing, causing some mayhem once he was spotted smooching Abbie at a local bar.
But the couple have been solid ever since, even moving in together in Sydney, and adopting a dog together.
The pair have also been very candid with the public about the fact their relationship is open.
“We’re just having a different structure to our relationship. So, we’re open. We’re in an open relationship which we love,” Abbie revealed on her podcast, It’s A Lot, during an episode where Konrad guest-starred.
“There are rules. You can still cheat on each other,” she revealed.
“That’s the stuff I want to navigate and I want to learn because I feel like there’s so much more to a relationship than just sex,” Konrad added.
“We live together, we have a dog together, and we’re working towards a future together. The sex is the only real thing that’s different [to a normal relationship], and we still have sex with each other,” Abbie told the No Filter podcast.
“I think I see the relationship as much more than just sex, and I don’t see monogamy as the only validation for a relationship that is more than just a friendship.”
