Kourtney Kardashian’s kids have lovingly accepted their new stepdad, Travis Barker, having sent him adoring cards to celebrate Father’s Day.
Travis proudly took to Instagram on Monday to share the loving messages from all his kids, who spoiled him rotten on the special day.
This included a card from Kourtney’s son, Reign, featuring typically adorable seven-year-old handwriting and a cute illustration to match.
Her daughter, Penelope, 9, was a little more prolific in her card, writing “You are so, so nice and kind. You are so amazing … you are the best drummer ever, you make my mum happy!”
While the recent season of The Kardashians hinted at some teething problems in merging both Kourtney and Travis’s families, it now seems the group are blending well.
Kourtney and Travis got engaged in October of 2021 and celebrated with their families right afterwards – an event that Kourtney’s kids were controversially excluded from.
This upset Kourtney’s ex and their father, Scott Disick, who felt they shouldn’t have been excluded, and wondered aloud to Kourtney’s sister, Khloe, if this meant they would also be excluded from the wedding.
Kourtney and Travis surprised fans by holding two separate wedding ceremonies, both without their children.
First, the pair ‘married’ in Las Vegas with an Elvis impersonator as the celebrant, but revealed pretty quickly that they hadn’t signed a marriage license, and were only treating it as ‘practice’ for the big day.
Secondly, they married in a civil ceremony in Santa Monica, with only Travis’s father and Kourtney’s grandmother in attendance. It was a subdued event in contrast to their third wedding: a massive party in Portofino, Italy, which took place a week later.
Penelope, Reign, and Kourtney’s eldest son, Mason, were all in attendance. Reign acted as a ringbearer, and Penelope as a flower girl.
Travis’s teenage kids – Alabama, Landon, and Atiana – were also all in attendance.
The loved-up couple have also been trying to have a baby of their own, documenting their IVF journey on The Kardashians.
