Liam Hemsworth’s year has been anything but smooth sailing, and with his divorce from Miley Cyrus now finalised it seems the Aussie actor is ready to wave 2019 goodbye with a smile.

Enjoying a day at a surf park in Melbourne with his famous bother Chris Hemsworth, Liam took to Instagram to celebrate a pleasant wrap to his tumultuous year.
“Wow what an epic day this was,” Liam wrote. “Great way to wrap up the year! Thanks @urbnsurf I’ll be back real soon 😉 #urbnsurf.”
On Christmas day it was reported that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had officially settled their divorce.
According to TMZ, the Wrecking Ball singer and her Hunger Games ex-husband have divided their assets – including their shared Malibu home and array of pets – with Miley’s attorney set to file court documents on Tuesday.
The pair called it quits back in August 2019 after just seven months of marriage, with Hemsworth citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” A rep for Cyrus revealed. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
A little part of us will forever yearn for these two to reconnect, but all we can do is hope 2019 brings them both a little love!
