Who is Luke Bateman?
Luke played NRL with the Canberra Raiders between 2015-2019. However, he retired from the sport when he was just 27 years old due to injury and mental health issues.
Opening up about the trials and tribulations he faced in his twenties, the former sportsman revealed that he had been battling depression and a gambling addiction throughout his career.
Leaving the sporting world behind for something more glamorous, Bateman traded his jersey for a tux and made his reality TV debut season 11 of The Bachelor Australia.

Luke has been single almost two years, but we all still remember his most recent ex, Ellie Rolfe. After all, they did meet on the 2023 season of The Bachelor!
The pair stayed together throughout the show, but split just four months later – and it is clear things did not end on good terms.
Sharing her thoughts ahead of his I’m A Celeb appearance, Ellie warned her followers not to “believe everything you see on TV and social media.”
“People can curate a whole identity for their personal gain/ego,” she wrote. “You don’t know anyone until you’ve been in some sort of relationship with them. Even then you don’t know someone but you know where I’m going with this.” Yikes.
“Don’t put people in the media on a pedestal!!!!” she continued. “You don’t know them.”
