For months, invested viewers and eagle-eyed fans have slammed Married at First Sight for its glaringly obvious editing fails.
WATCH: The worst editing fails from this season!
And although no one was caught reading a book upside down or changing their underwear after each sentence on tonight’s episode, there was a cheeky mistake you might’ve missed if you were too focused on watching love birds Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant pack on the PDA.
Perhaps one of the most thoughtful dates we’ve seen on this season of the controversial series, a loved-up Cam took his bride back to the place where they first met and exchanged wedding vows. Leading her to a beautifully decorated table, Cam and Jules shared a few smooches before the pair settled in for a drink and a snack.
Raising his full glass of champagne, the pair toasted to finding and falling in love!
After clinking their glasses and taking a tiny sip, the camera cut to the ex-cricketer who, in a matter of moments, had skulled most of his glass… Hmm, that doesn’t sound like something Cam would do, right?
Here’s their “first” sip.
Half a second later and the glass of bubbly is pretty much empty.
Then, when he puts the glass down, there’s no liquid in it at all.
Compared to the other editing fails we’ve seen this season, this mishap isn’t too bad. Nevertheless, visible mistakes such as these always leave fans questioning whether the producers of the series are intentionally piecing separate scenes together in the hope of creating a false narrative.
