Married At First Sight‘s Michael Goonan doesn’t share information about his son often but in his latest social media post, fans couldn’t believe how much the toddler takes after his dad.
The 29-year-old dad-of-one shared a split screen image of his son Connor beside a photo of himself as a young boy and the two look remarkably similar.
“This blew my mind.. me on the left, my son on the right…,” Michael wrote in the caption.
The MAFS groom also shared a cute home video of himself and Connor playing with one of Connor’s dummies.
“Also had to throw in one of my many stupid videos of us two taking the p*ss he makes me laugh… #makesmesmile,” he added.
Michael previously shared some information about his son in an Instagram Q&A, highlighting that he tries to keep Connor out of the public eye.
“I don’t talk about him often,” Michael confessed in the video.
“My son’s name is Connor, I’ve kept him well away from all this nonsense, he’s an absolute gorgeous boy. He’ll be nearly three soon and I love him with all my heart.”
“It brought me to tears. Scary stuff when you think two lives are about to be lost,” he told the publication.
Michael has since introduced his new girlfriend KC Osborne to his son who describes Connor as a cutie and the couple want to start their own family in due course.
“I think KC would be the best mum. A little dancing pop star! We are excited to start the next chapter,” Michael told New Idea.
While Michael insists he’s a devoted dad, his on-screen ex-wife Stacey Hampton says it’s a totally different situation.
In a chat with WHO, the law graduate said: “I’m fine with Michael. I just hope he can start being a better dad.”
“He never sees his son. I’ve even managed to speak to his son more than him post-show, as my kids miss him.”
