It appears the Duchess of Sussex is a huge Beyoncé fan!
On July 14, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left their two-month-old baby Archie Harrison at home for the evening so they could attend the European premiere of The Lion King.
After arriving on the yellow carpet at London’s Leicester Square, all eyes were on the Royal couple as they engaged in an adorable exchange with pop royalty, Beyoncé and Jay Z (Shawn Carter).

The former Suits actress enjoyed a sweet embrace with the “Crazy In Love” songstress before the pair reportedly swapped baby stories. According to the Daily Mail’s Rebecca English, Beyonce congratulated Meghan on the birth of her “beautiful” baby boy— who was born on May 6—telling her that she and her husband “love you guys”.

The new mum then reportedly asked the pop star— who voices lioness Nala in the Disney live-action remake— about her two-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.
“They are not here, they don’t come on every trip. We left them at home,” the I Was Here hitmaker replied. “They would have loved to have been here,” the singer replied.
As expected, Queen Bey fans went into meltdown over her meeting with the Royal couple.
After Buckingham Palace confirmed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were set to attend the star-studded event, royal expert Justin Sylvester revealed Meghan could face backlash for her interactions with the pop star, particularly if she greets her with a hug or they pose for a snap together.
Speaking to E! News, he said: “I just think she’s doomed, like she’s damned if she does and she’s damned if she doesn’t. If she takes a photo with Beyoncé everyone’s going to say, she’s so Hollywood, this is not what royals do. If she doesn’t take the photo with Beyoncé, everyone is going to say she snubbed her, she’s too good for her.”
