Michael Brunelli and Martha Kalifatidis are one of the longest-lasting couples to come out of Married At First Sight so they know a thing or two about how to navigate a relationship in the public eye.
But when one fan mused to Michael via an Instagram Q&A that they’re single and won’t ever find their soulmate, the former MAFS groom had some wise words.
In response, Michael shared a throwback photo taken in October 2018 when he and Martha were filming the sixth season of the reality dating show.
“I was 27 and Martha was 30 when we met,” Michael replied in his caption.
“There’s time. Just relax. Enjoy learning more about yourself and try not to force it with anyone because of your age.”
Another fan asked the question that Martha and Michael have been facing ever since they left MAFS.
In answer to one fan’s question “When will you two get married?” the primary school teacher turned online personal trainer responded with a photo of himself taking a drink.
Michael and Martha, who met when they were matched together on MAFS, have discussed marriage and kids but it won’t be just yet.
“We get asked that question every single day on social media and I tell people ‘you guys will be the last to find out, but you will find out,'” Michael previously told WHO.
“I get why people are so invested. They’ve seen the moment we first laid eyes one one another and they’ve followed our relationship, for everyone, a real marriage is naturally the next step. It’s there, I get it, I’m very well aware of it.”

Whilst Martha is the more extroverted of the pair and isn’t opposed to doing more reality TV, Michael is happy to take a back seat.
When asked why they work so well together, the former TV groom admitted that they have “a great dynamic”.
“She’s more upfront and she’s the louder one and outspoken and I’m more like conservative,” he explained.
“We take pieces from each other and it balances out really well. I’m more outspoken than I was and she’s more in control of her emotions and decisions.”
Martha added: “I’m more emotionally aware than I ever was before I met Michael and he’s a lot more confident as well.”
