Mike has been an actor for decades now and has been seen in the likes of She’s Out of My League, The Help, Cloverfield and TV series, The Brave.

However, with the steamy Sex/Life capturing the attention of quite literally the world, people have been putting Mike’s name to Cooper Connelly’s face.

It turns out he has been taken for quite some time and is quite the family man!

Mike married his wife, Courtney Vogel, in 2003, which is coincidentally the year he appeared in his first film, Grind.

She was 18 at the time, while Mike was 24, making them quite a young couple to be tying the knot, especially in the world of celebrity.

Not a lot is known about former model Courtney as she doesn’t have social media, leaving us to learn about their love story from Mike’s glowing posts instead.

In January this year, the couple celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.

Mike posted a sepia-toned image of a younger Courtney and himself, and another image of her looking fabulous in a black leather jacket and large sunglasses.

“18 is a lot of things…” Mike captioned the images

“In Hebrew, 18 means “chai” or “Alive”. Literally it means life,” he continued.

“18 is also the age at which most enter adulthood… 18 years ago today, this stunning woman and I walked down the aisle together, when she was 18.

“We have lived half of her life, together. That’s so amazing to me. She loves Alf reruns and vegetables. I love Hogan’s Heroes reruns and steak. She LOVES the beach. I LOVE the mountains. But we LOVE each other. I am honoured to walk this life with her. She is my “chai”, my “life” and I cherish her. I love you, Courtney,” he penned.

Mike and Courtney have three kids together – daughters Cassy Renee and Charlee B, and son Gabriel James.

They appear on Mike’s social media occasionally, usually doing quite outdoorsy activities.

He wrote a tribute for his eldest, Cassy, when she turned 11 back in 2018.

“11 years ago today, I became a father for the first time,” he wrote alongside a snap of Cassy.

“I delivered her in my favourite cowboy boots and hat, almost dropped her, and was instantly smitten. Such joy, and light and love all wrapped up one little body.

“She will be the greatest thing in some man’s life someday… if I let him live that long. I love you Cassy Renee,” he finished.

Mike also posted a shot and a video of himself and Cassy horse riding in 2020, with a lengthy caption about fatherhood attached.

“I’ll say this, parenting is tough, and there have been so many times during quarantine where I just want a break from my kids…. (I’m sure none of you have felt the same way),” he wrote.

“I have had to slap myself around and remind myself that I will never ever be given this gift again, in my life.

“A time where life slows down enough that I am forced to connect and spend quality time with them, and the business of life is pushed to the side. There are no pressing engagements. The world has slowed down,” he reflected.
