Where can I watch the trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2?
We’re only three months away from the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2, and we’ve finally received our first full trailer.
The one-and-a-half-minute-long trailer opens on a fictional Met Gala (hilariously with a Spring Florals theme, IYKYK), with Nigel’s (Stanley Tucci) voice heard saying, “Runway, it’s not just a magazine, it’s a global icon. A winding road that brings us back, together again.”
The scene then switches to Miranda Priestley’s (Meryl Streep) office, where Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) pops her head in, and Nigel jokingly says, “Look what TJ Maxx dragged in.”
However, Miranda seemingly pretends to have forgotten who Andy is, saying, “Sorry, who is this, do you know her, do I know her?”
The joke comes up again in a scene with Emily (Emily Blunt), who is shocked to see Miranda and Andy back together again.
You can also spot Aussie actor Patrick Brammall in the trailer briefly. The Colin From Accounts star, who reportedly plays Andy’s love interest, twirls her around outside a restaurant.
It’s also revealed that Andy has returned to Runway after leaving the magazine at the end of the first film, where she was Miranda’s assistant. This time, Andy’s been hired as the new Features Editor for the magazine, much to Emily’s (and seemingly Miranda’s) dismay.

In July 2024, Disney announced that a sequel was in development.
A few months later, it was confirmed that Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci would reprise their respective roles as Andy Sachs, Miranda Priestly, Emily Charlton, and Nigel Kipling.

In July 2025, Anne shared a first look on Instagram, writing, “Andy Sachs 2025,” alongside a photo of herself in a pinstripe vest and matching trousers.
Several photos of her and Meryl Streep on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 also leaked (you can see them and Anne’s Insta post below).
What will the sequel be about?
Early reports have speculated that the plot will revolve around Miranda navigating the decline of traditional magazine publishing.
She’ll also face off against her old assistant Emily, who’s now a power player in luxury fashion advertising.

This remains to be confirmed, but at least now we know how Andy fits in as Features Editor at the magazine!
Who is starring in The Devil Wears Prada 2?
As mentioned, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci will all reprise their roles from the first film.
Tracie Thoms, who played Andy’s best friend Lily, and Tibor Feldman, who played the chairman of Runway, will also reprise their roles.

However, Adrian Grenier, who played Andy’s terrible boyfriend Nate, will not return (yay).
In addition to Patrick Brammall, stars confirmed to join the film include Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Helen J. Shen, Conrad Ricamora, and Caleb Hearon.
Kenneth is set to play Miranda’s new husband, but the other roles have not yet been disclosed.

Is there a teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2?
On November 13, 2025, Disney released a first-look teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2.
In the teaser, we follow someone as they walk through the runway offices, until it’s revealed to be Meryl’s character, Miranda, at the elevator. She steps inside as the doors begin to close, when a hand stops them. Anne’s character, Andy Sachs, walks into the elevator.
“Took you long enough,” Miranda tells her.

Is there a Devil Wears Prada 2 book?
Mega-fans will know that The Devil Wears Prada was based on the book of the same name by Lauren Weissberger.

Lauren did release a sequel novel – titled Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns – in 2013.
It follows Andy Sachs a decade later as the editor-in-chief of a successful bridal magazine.
As she approaches marriage and parenthood, she reunites with Miranda Priestly when their publications consider a merger, leading to a battle of wits as Miranda tries to sway Andy and Emily into selling out.
The early plot details of The Devil Wears Prada 2 don’t align with the sequel book, so it’s likely we’re getting a brand-new story…
