After Billy Crystal, a long-time friend of Rob, opened the tribute by outlining the tremendous impact Rob Reiner had on the filmmaking industry, he was soon joined by his When Harry Met Sally co-star Meg Ryan, and other actors and creators who were close with the director, including Demi Moore and Kathy Bates.

What do we know about Rob Reiner’s death?
Rob Reiner and his wife Michele died in Los Angeles on December 14, with their death certificates confirming they died of “multiple sharp force injuries”.
It is believed the time between the onset of injuries and death is listed as “minutes” on the death certificates, according to People.
Rob and Michele’s 32-year-old son Nick was arrested in connection with the killings.
The couple were reportedly found by their daughter, Romy, according to TMZ.
Across two marriages, Rob was the father of four children, including one adopted daughter from his first marriage to Penny Marshall and three children he shared with Michele.
