Last month, she inked her hand to mark the seven-year anniversary of her father Michael Jackson’s passing and Paris Jackson has unveiled another new ink.
Jackson, 18, shared a snap of two beaded feathers etched behind her ear, to Instagram on July 31, captioning the shot: “Couldn’t ever ask for better ink than from my man @dermagraphink!”
Paris has a large collection of body art, including Prince’s love symbol and a lightning bolt in memory of David Bowie, who passed away on January 10.
The teenager also has the word “Bad” for her father’s hit single, the artwork for his album Dangerous and the words “Queen of my heart” etched on her skin.
Jackson explained the reasons behind her growing collection of tattoos on June 15, writing on Instagram: “My scars and past of self-hatred have been covered by loving marks, creativity, ingenuity. . .and depth.”
“Sure I will always carry my past with me, but I see ink as a way of changing for the better, always improving. They represent strength for me. I look back at my old self and then I look in the mirror, and I see a fighter looking back at me.”
