Get ready, Big Brother fans! Another season of Big Brother Australia is almost here, and it’s promising just as much chaos, laughter and viral moments as before.
While the series previously aired on Channels Seven and Nine, Network 10 revived the show in Australia in 2025 following a successful UK reboot.
Now, the 2026 season is shaping up to be just as much of a success!
The wonderful Mel Tracina is returning as host, and Mike Goldman will once again be the infamous voice and narrator of Big Brother Australia. This year, the house will be in Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant, Brisbane.
As fans eagerly await the cast reveal, the crew have been having lots of fun teasing them with some behind-the-scenes snippets.

Fans react to Big Brother Australia house reveal
Big Brother has kept the housemate cast list firmly under wraps this year, leaning into the secrecy by promising to leak the cast on social media and then jokingly providing fans with blurry pictures instead.
However, what they did reveal was the iconic Big Brother house.
Cue a bright, neon house filled with colourful character!
While fans were overjoyed with the sneak peek, they also pointed out a couple of critiques that prompted Mike Goldman to step in online.
“Wow, Big Brother House looks amazing,” one fan wrote on social media.
“Big Brother UK house and Australia looks the same (almost every year),” another fan commented. “It’s beautiful for sure, but I wish they had more of a theme to the house, similar to Big Brother Canada and USA.”
In response to this comment, Goldman stepped in, jokingly replying, “But you haven’t even seen the lookout or the helipad…”

Other critiques centred on fans wishing the house had stayed “a surprise”, criticising the “vibes” of the house.
“Too much Channel Seven vibes,” one user said. “Bring back the 00s BB vibe.”
