Meet Farmer Jarrad’s Ladies

The second episode of the season saw Farmer Jarrad meet eight women during a round of speed dates.

Following the one-on-ones, he was faced with the tough decision to send three women home before inviting the five remaining ladies back to the farm to get to know him better.

As Ash, Chloe, Lucy, Maneesha and Bri continue their journey on the show, one clear front runner emerged, Chloe, who the 21-year-old farmer chose for a 24-hour date.

“It meant a lot to be able to cook for her and just for her,” he explained. “We’ve got a similar sense of humour and really like being around each other.”

Did Farmer Jarrad already have a girlfriend when he signed up for the show?

Shortly after the season premiere, rumours emerged suggesting that the show’s youngest farmer may already be in a committed long-term relationship.

A source speaking to Woman’s Day alleges the country singer saw the show as a publicity opportunity and that the mystery woman was willing “to go along with it” at first.

“No one can confirm if indeed they’ve officially split or not,” the source added.

What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for someone?

I once drove 22 and a half hours straight from Victoria to Southeast Queensland to see my partner at the time. I’ve also written a song
or two for girls in the past.

Why did you sign up for the show?

I’m looking for ‘the one’ – someone to share my life with. They’d have to be as boisterous as I am and pull me into line if I’m being too much of a clown. And I’d love to have children – maybe three or four.

What qualities are you looking for?

Trust, respect and loyalty. Someone who
will have your back. I’m very driven, so in
a relationship, I need someone who’s going to push me as hard as I push them, so we
can achieve our dreams together.

What’s a typical day on the farm like?

I get up nice and early to watch the sun rise
in my favourite place on the property. I make myself breakfast, then it’s off to feed and water the stock, and maybe some fencing.
