Samantha Moitzi

Launching into the jungle by taking a leap of faith off a dam wall, Samantha embraced camp life like it was a brand-new fiancé. She wasted no time proving her mettle, tackling terrifying challenges with impressive grit. Samantha even took trash TV to a whole new level—literally—when she and fellow contestant Nicky Buckley dived into a dumpster to retrieve stars for their campmates, securing a whopping ten-star haul.

In between the creepy-crawly challenges, camp life gave us a deeper look into Samantha’s journey. She opened up about how a chance encounter at the shops led to her becoming a bride on Married At First Sight, her personal struggles, and her journey to self-acceptance. But despite making friends and showing resilience, it wasn’t enough to keep her safe from elimination.

Samantha’s departure marks the first elimination of the season, and while her time in the jungle was cut short, she certainly made an impression. Whether it was her fearless attitude in challenges or her candid conversations about self-worth and resilience, Samantha left her mark on the competition.

Nicky Buckley was the second campmate to be eliminated in the 2025 season after a memorable time in the jungle. From dazzling celeb stories to insight into *those* pregnancy headlines, Nicky was an instrumental part of camp — especially when she and fellow contestant Samantha dived into a dumpster to retrieve stars for their campmates, securing a whopping ten-star haul.

Nicky’s time in the jungle was in support of a cause very close to her heart, Ovarian Cancer Australia. “I lost my Mum to Ovarian Cancer 20 years ago at 67 years old,” Nicky explained. “Unfortunately, after all these years there is still no early detection test for ovarian cancer, so I am passionate about raising awareness for the signs and symptoms for women to look out for.

“Ovarian Cancer Australia provides support in numerous ways to those living with ovarian cancer to ensure no woman diagnosed with the disease walks alone,” Nicky continued. “They also advocate for funding for support services and research into one day finding a cure.”

Her time in camp may have been short, but latecomer Sigrid Thornton left her mark on the franchise, breaking the record for the longest time spent in the Viper Room, clocking an impressive 33 minutes surrounded by 170 snakes.

Sigrid’s time in the jungle was in support of Dementia Australia, she explained: “Dementia is a problem that most families will encounter. It is very challenging to see a loved one ‘disappear’ and to lose connection with the people close to them. It was painful to see this happen to my mother who lived most of her life as a very intelligent, strong and focused person.”

“My charity provides support to families dealing with dementia and is also supporting research to find strategies to better deal with the condition.”

Alongside Sigrid Thronton, Tina Provis also left the jungle in the shock double elimination. The reality TV star quickly became a fan favourite and also chose to support Dementia Australia, a cause close to her heart.

“Dementia has had a big impact on my life, as we lost my Pop to the condition. Watching someone you love go through dementia is heartbreaking, and it is equally heartbreaking to see the impact it has on your whole family as they slowly say goodbye to the person they knew so well,” she said.

“Dementia Australia helps to support people living with dementia, their families, and carers. They also support vital research and health workers providing essential care to those affected,” Tina continued. “I know firsthand that dementia has a flow-on effect, causing huge pressure and strain for families as they look to care for those they love.”

After keeping spirits high throughout his time in the jungle, comedian Dave ‘Hughsey’ Hughes became the latest celebrity to leave the all-star camp.

Throughout his time on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, Hughsey competed in support of the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation which raises valuable funds to assist research into juvenile brain cancer.

“I’ve been an ambassador for years. The founders lost their son in his teens. They work tirelessly to try to prevent other parents feeling this heartache,” he shared.

And just like that another double elimination has rocked the jungle! Both Zach Tuohy and Harrison Reid were sent packing in the midst of an exhilarating season, leaving only 5 contestants back in camp.

Zach’s time in the jungle was in support of HeartKids, the only Australian charity dedicated to providing support, resources and advocacy for the people impacted by childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD).

“One of my best mate’s sons had a heart condition at birth and I know they were great help to him,” Zach explained. “Him and his wife are great parents, and I know it was a tough time for them. They speak so highly of this organisation.”

As the first intruder of the season, Bondi lifeguard Harrison Reid made quite the impression on the camp. Saving his fellow campmates during trials, keeping morale up and educating both the celebs and Aussies watching at home about lifesaving skills and the DRSABCD action plan, it comes as no surprise that the charity he supported while in the jungle was Live Learn Survive.

“Live Learn Survive was started by fellow Lifeguard and fireman Trent ‘maxi’ Maxwell and Leigh [Mason] who so far have taught 34,000 kids how to survive on their worst day with fire, water and first aid training,” Harrison said.

“We have heard some amazing stories from kids and adults who have pulled people out of the water at home pools or at the beach and started doing CPR with no training, just because they have seen us do it on Bondi Rescue and have actually saved lives from this, this is a skill that should be taught everywhere.”

Who will win I’m a Celeb 2025?

At this stage of the game, the competition is close and any of the campmates could emerge victorious. Although we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see who will take the crown, that hasn’t stopped a few fan favourites become early top competitors.

Before entering the jungle, former NRL player Sam Thaiday vowed to win the show – something no other footy player has achieved (yet!). But there’s one other contestant who fans believe will take the win. Read the latest, here.
