Laguna Beach fans will know that Lauren Conrad was seriously pining over Stephen Colletti throughout the series, and while things never worked out there, she is now happily married.
She had to kiss a few frogs to meet her husband, but the pair are very happy and have been together for 14 years now!
Who is Lauren Conrad’s husband?
Lauren and her husband, William Tell, actually go way back! William grew up in the same area of Southern California as Lauren, and they first met when she was in high school.
She told Us Weekly, “I met my husband when I was 16 and sitting on stage at one of his concerts.”
“Ten years later we were set up on a blind date.”
The pair began dating in 2012 after that blind date on Valentine’s Day, of course!
By October 2013, they were engaged, with the then 27-year-old confirming the news on her blog.
“I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend,” she said. “I am beyond thrilled!”
The pair wed a year later on September 13, 2014, at a winery in Santa Ynez, California.
Lauren’s Laguna Beach bestie, Lo Bosworth, was one of her nine bridesmaids, with guests including her ex, Stephen.
The reality star and her husband share two sons, Liam, eight, and Charlie, six.
One year after their wedding, Lauren wrote in her blog, “My favourite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with.”
“Dreaming of the things we will do 20 years from now is so fun.”
What does Lauren’s husband William Tell do?
William began his career as a musician in a pop-rock band called Something Corporate, but he left to do… something corporate and go to law school!
“I didn’t really want to go back to undergrad, but I had to get a college degree in order to go to law school,” he told Above the Law. “I wanted to go to law school because I’d always been fascinated by government, politics, history.”
While he was in law school, he interned at Warner Bros. Records and the entertainment law firm Ziffren Brittenham, People reports.
Who did Lauren date before she met her husband?
Lauren and Stephen had an on-and-off romance that fizzled out after high school, with Stephen telling Us Weekly that they have “always been friends”.
She would later date Jason Wahler, another Laguna Beach alum, during the first season of The Hills in 2005.
But the romance came to an end, not before Lauren famously became “the girl who didn’t go to Paris” because she chose to spend time with him, rather than go to Paris for a career opportunity.
She also briefly dated her Hills co-star Brody Jenner in late 2006.
Lauren had a short-lived romance with minor league baseball player Doug Reinhardt, who would soon after date Stephanie Pratt.
Later, she began seeing actor Kyle Howard, before the pair called it quits in June 2011.
After this, she went on a couple of dates with Derek Hough, but it didn’t last long.
And you know what happened next, right? She, of course, met the love of her life, William, and lived happily ever after!
