The last thing you want to be dealing with on your wedding day is a broken heart.
Especially if it belongs to one of your best friends.
But luckily for loveable Newcastle lads Matt, 27, and Luke, 29, they’ve been through some hard times together.
The pair are best mates, and according to Luke his long-time friend Matt actually broke up with his girlfriend at his wedding.
“Matt came to my wedding with his girlfriend at the time, and they actually broke up at my wedding,” Luke told WHO.
Luckily for Luke, Matt kept his heartbreak to himself so his best mate could enjoy his day.
“I didn’t know about it because he didn’t want to spoil the day or take the attention away,” Luke confessed.
The friends, who always have each other’s backs, have been pals since they were teenagers, having met playing cricket.
“It wasn’t like he dumped her but it was like that was the night where it was the end.”

On Tuesday night’s episode of MKR, Matt and Luke defeated Ruby and Andy in the second sudden death semi-final.
They’ll face Ibby and Romel in the grand final.
