She pleaded with producers to enlist Richie Strahan as this year’s Bachelor in a bid to help him find love after she dumped him just before the finale of last year’s Bachelorette.
But Sam Frost has now revealed she isn’t exactly happy with Richie’s decision to give single mother Alex Nation his final rose.
The reality star, 27, interviewed the happy couple on her 2DayFM breakfast show on Friday morning, and instead of congratulating the pair she instead expressed her disapproval of 32-year-old Richie’s decision to dump runner-up Nikki Gogan.
“Guys I’ve got high blood pressure. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep. I was so invested in Nikki,” she told them. “I wanted to go meet Snowy and hang out and we can all be besties and have picnics and drink wine’.
Sam didn’t hold back her feelings, even awkwardly asking the Perth-based rope technician: “Oh my god Richie what happened?”
After the rant, Sam then addressed Alex, 25, saying: “Alex, you’re lovely.”
“Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t about you. You’re lovely, you’re sweet, you’re delightful, you’re related to my bestie, it’s great,” she said. “But guys I was so invested in Nikki!”
Alex responded saying: “Everyone’s so devastated,” before Richie chimed in, saying: “Except me! Can I just point out that I am really happy?”
Sam also shared her disapproval of Richie’s decision to choose Alex on Twitter on Thursday night, writing: “Nikki I will marry you!!! I seriously can’t believe it. My heart broke for her poor girl. #Nikkif”
As the show drew to a close, Sam also posted a number of broken heart and crying face emoji’s on the social media site, and even tweeted: “What is happening!!!”
Sam’s boyfriend Sasha Mielczarek, who she chose over Richie in last year’s Bachelorette series, also took to Twitter on Thursday night to express his disapproval of his friend’s decision.
“It’s official! I have to eat my own head #theBachelorAU #luckyimhungry,” he wrote, referring to a previous bet.
