Selena Gomez has opened up about her love life in an interview with Vogue Australia.
The “Let Me Love You” singer, 24, offered a candid glimpse into her 4-year relationship and subsequent split with Justin Bieber, saying: “For a while my private life was the most talked about thing. Nobody really knows everything and they can only assume.”
Adding: “You want to do what you love but all this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously.”
Gomez admitted her past relationship with the “Sorry” singer is still having an impact on her dating love life now.
“Because I think people would think it’s kind of dumb [to date me],” the pop sensation said. “Nobody would want to throw themselves into that situation where it was so heightened publicly, like, why would they?”
