How many medals does Jessica Fox have?
Throughout her career at the Olympic level, Jessica Fox has won a total of six medals.
In her first Olympic Games appearance in London 2012, Fox took home a silver medal for the Women’s K1 canoe slalom, finishing 0.61 seconds behind the gold medal winner Émilie Fer.
Returning for her second Olympics in 2016, Fox took to the Rio de Janeiro podium in the bronze medal position for the Women’s K1 canoe slalom – achieving the same result at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Following her run of silver and bronze medals, Fox finally took home the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the Women’s C1 canoe slalom.
Competing in her fourth Olympic Games in Paris 2024, Fox added another gold medal to her tally for the Women’s K1 canoe slalom.

When did Jessica Fox start canoeing?
Jessica Fox first began training in canoeing in 2005 on Penrith’s Nepean River before progressing to the white water of the Sydney International Regatta Centre.
Coached by her mother, 1996 Olympic Games K1 bronze medalist Myriam Fox-Jerusalmi, Fox began her international career in 2009, finishing third at the ICF World Ranking competition in Merano, Italy.
Where does Jessica Fox live?
Born in Marseille, France, Jessica moved to Australia in 1998 at the age of four. Since relocating Down Under, Fox has been based in Sydney, with the Olympic champion now residing in Penrith, New South Wales – the same suburb as the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Regatta Centre.

Who is Jessica Fox’s partner?
Jessica Fox is currently in a relationship with French slalom canoe star Mathieu Biazizzo.
While the exact timeline of their romance is unknown, it is believed that Fox and Biazizzo have been together since 2015. Speaking on their relationship, Fox revealed to Stellar’s Something to Talk About podcast in 2023 that while they are one another’s biggest supporters, their time in the water doesn’t come without some healthy competition.
“I always try to beat him, but it’s also about learning from each other,” she shared, adding that their shared understanding of the demands of their sport also helps to strengthen their partnership.
“Mathieu is quite a radical paddler in terms of risks he takes, so training with him means I push myself to try and emulate that a bit. I know some people wouldn’t be able to train with their partners, but it’s been good. It’s fun,” she wrote for Athletes Voice.
