No one can forget the chokehold Ted Lasso had on us during the throes of COVID lockdowns. Debuting in 2020, Jason Sudeikis, his moustache and his shortbread biscuits charmed audiences around the world, and soon AFC Richmond had become everyone’s favourite English Premier League soccer team.

The series was widely praised by critics, with standout recognition for its performances (including Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, and Juno Temple), as well as its humour, writing, themes, and heartwarming tone – which made its season three finale bittersweet as the cast announced it would be the end for the show.

But less than a year after the show ended, fans are getting confirmation about a fourth season. Oh yes, we’re so back!

“As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap,” said Jason Sudeikis.

“In season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.”
