A new promo for The Kardashians has dropped, giving us the premiere date we’ve been desperately wanting for so long: April 14, 2022.
The 30 second teaser shows the women of the Kardashian-Jenner clan looking stunning as ever, dressed in head-to-toe neutrals and encased in glass boxes – probably a metaphor for how their lives will once again be on display.
While we couldn’t be more excited to be looking into the lives of our favourite family once more, it’s unlikely we’ll get to see their latest addition.
Kylie Jenner gave birth to a baby, believed to be a son, on February 2nd, 2022, and took to Instagram to announce the birth on the 7th.
While our knowledge of filming schedules is far from perfect, we’re pretty certain her little bundle of joy might have arrived too late to make the cut for the new series.
Kylie is also incredibly pregnant in the trailer, sporting an adorable, round bump below her ruched cream dress, leading us to think we’ll get a few more juicy details about her pregnancy during the upcoming series.
Kylie’s pregnancy was rumoured for some time, and officially announced in September of last year with a video (read: cinematic masterpiece) that saw her receiving a sonogram and revealing the news to her family.
It was a far cry from her first pregnancy with daughter Stormi Webster, which she hid from the world until after the birth.
In case you missed it, the Kardashian-Jenner ladies wrapped up their famous E! series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2021, after 20 seasons.
Shortly afterwards, Kris Jenner confirmed they weren’t actually done with reality TV, just the existing series, and it wasn’t much later that they announced their new deal with Hulu to create The Kardashians.
According to Kris, the family were hoping for an end to the drama that came along with filming their original show.
“It will be a different side,” she told The Wall Street Journal. “But I wouldn’t say that our silly sides are not going to come out.”
However, while the show is believed to focus more on the women’s business endeavours, we can’t expect the show to not have any drama at all.
Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Kourtney’s engagement to fiancé Travis Barker was filmed in October.
Also, Kim has a new boyfriend in Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, and Khloé Kardashian has left her husband, Tristan Thompson, after he was confirmed to have fathered a child with another woman – two things we’re certain fans will want to hear more about!
